Canada Life Financial Corporation (CLFC) is the parent company of The Canada Life Assurance Company and is a subsidiary of the publicly-traded financial services holding company, Great-West Lifeco Inc.
Canada Life Financial Corporation common shares ceased trading on the TSX and the NYSE at market close on July 9, 2003. As of July 10, 2003 Great-West Lifeco acquired 100% of the common shares of Canada Life Financial Corporation.

The Canada Life Assurance Company, a subsidiary of CLFC, has one series of subordinated debentures outstanding with an aggregate face value of $100 million.

Capital Trust Securities
Canada Life Capital Trust, a trust established by The Canada Life Assurance Company, has issued two series of Canada Life Capital Trust Securities (“CLiCS”): Series A with a face value of $300 million and Series B with a face value of $150 million.
